The shipper has created a shipping label and transmitted the parcel's information to the carrier, but the parcel has not yet been physically scanned into the carrier's network.
What normally happens next
The carrier will typically create its first physical scan when the parcel is dropped off or picked up. Until then, tracking often shows no movement.

Usually none — the status is informational.
